Accessing Test Results
If you have access to your NHS App, you can view your test results online after the doctor has reviewed your test results, Watch the video below to see how you can access your GP records on the NHS App. Alternatively the doctor will send you an SMS in regards to your test results.

Expectations for Test Results
When you attend a test, you should be informed of the expected wait time for results.
Tests from Clinics or Hospitals
For test results from a Clinic or Hospital, please contact them directly. We cannot process tests requested by other clinicians. If the specialist promises to send results to your GP, insist on receiving them directly from the specialist for the best advice.
Confidentiality and Information Disclosure
When calling the surgery, reception may ask for personal details to confirm your identity. Medical information may be refused if it’s not relevant to the caller. We prioritize confidentiality in releasing such information.
Blood clinics

All results will be sent back to the requesting doctor. Note Laboratory staff are not permitted to give results to patients or their relatives. For guidance on what your pathology tests mean please consult lab tests online
