Our Policies
NHS Multi-disciplinary Team
Services in general practice and the community are being transformed to make it easier to access a wider range of help from general practice, closer to home, by phone or online. This is part of the NHS long-term plan to offer people further choice and more joined-up healthcare.
More healthcare professionals including Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, Physician Associates, Mental Health Therapists and Social Prescribing Link Workers are being recruited nationally to work alongside GPs in wider networks
of practices. Your practice reception team will help guide you to the most appropriate care as soon as possible when booking you an appointment.
Find out what each of our healthcare professionals are trained to do for you:
Teaching Practice
We are a certified teaching practice for junior doctors who are doing a 4 month placement in General Practice, as well as GP Registrars who are more senior doctors in a training programme to become GP’s. We occasionally also have nurses in training. Therefore, at times there may be other doctors or nurses in training present during your appointment. If you prefer that they not be present, please inform our reception team who can alert the doctor or nurse seeing you.
Patient Records may be examined by other doctors for educational purposes only.
North Central London Integrated Care Systems (NCL ICS)
At our practice, we are proud to be commissioned by the North Central London – Integrated Care System (NCL ICS), which oversees healthcare services for Islington patients. As of 2022, NCL ICS has replaced the old Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and is responsible for coordinating healthcare in five boroughs, including Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington, serving a population of approximately 1.6 million residents
As a trusted healthcare provider, we offer General Practice primary care services to our patients as part of the NCL ICS commission. Additionally, we are proud to provide enhanced services, including our drug and alcohol service, to meet specific needs within our community.
We encourage you to visit the North Central London – Integrated Care System website for more information about their important role, initiatives, and objectives. This integrated care system aims to improve healthcare outcomes and enhance the well-being of the population.
